First Saturday
8:30 a.m. Zoom Room opens. We are available to do technology checks, get you comfortable with Zoom features
9:00 a.m. Workshop begins: Introductions
Each of the modules of the workshop will have the structure of didactics, demonstration and guided practice between you and your partner.
9:15 a.m. First Module: Core concepts of love and attachment and the importance of the experience of the relationship as a safe haven. Exploring what we bring into the relationship from our own families.
10:50 a.m. Break
11:00 a.m. Second Module: Conversation #1 – Recognizing the Demon Dialogues. Exploration of typical cycles of conflict that couples get stuck in when there is a rupture in the relationship.
11:45 a.m. Completion of Couple Exercise portion of Second Module
12:20 p.m. Process the Demon Dialogues
12:30 p.m. Break for Day
Sunday
8:45 a.m. Zoom Room opens
9:00 a.m. Third Module: Conversation #2 – Finding the Raw Spots. Exploring the vulnerable feelings evoked by our cycles of conflict or when we feel misunderstood by an intimate partner.
9:45 a.m. Completion of Couple Exercise portion of Third Module
10:30 a.m. Process Raw Spots with the group
10:45 a.m. Break
11:00 a.m. Fourth Module: Conversation #3 – The Hold Me Tight® Conversation. Partners begin to share their vulnerabilities in order to feel close to their partner and deepen their emotional bond.
11:45 a.m. Hold Me Tight Exercise in Break-Out Rooms
12:20 p.m. Process Hold Me Tight Exercise with the group
12:30 p.m. End of Weekend One

9:00 a.m. Fifth Module: Conversation #4 – Forgiving Injuries. A roadmap to work through the inevitable injuries that occur in the course of a relationship.
9:45 a.m. Forgiving Injuries Exercise in Break-Out Rooms
10:30 a.m. Process Forgiving Injuries with the group
10:45 a.m. Break
10:55 a.m. Sixth Module – Affect Regulation: Practical exercises to help center and ground ourselves when flooded with emotions, especially as it relates to upset with partners.
11:45 a.m. Seventh Module: Conversation #5 – Keeping Your Love Alive. Practical exercises that each couple brings home to solidify and enhance the gains made in the workshop experience.
12:30 p.m. Workshop ends.
