1:00 a.m. Introductions
1:30 First Module: Core concepts of love and attachment and the importance of the experience of the relationship as a safe haven.
2:00 Family Emotion and Messages- Exploring the origin of our emotion and the messages we receive from our families.
3:00 p.m. Second Module: Conversation #1 – Recognizing the Demon Dialogues. Exploration of typical cycles of conflict that couples get stuck in when there is a rupture in the relationship.
3:45 p.m. Complete Exercise
4:45 p.m. Break
5:00 p.m. Third Module: Conversation #2 – Finding the Raw Spots. Exploring the vulnerable feelings evoked by our cycles of conflict or when we feel misunderstood by an intimate partner.

Saturday
9:30 a.m. Arrival: Coffee, Tea and Bagels Provided
10:00 a.m. Fourth Module: Conversation #3: The Hold Me Tight Conversation. Partners begin to share their vulnerabilities in order to feel close to their partner and deepen their emotional bond.
12:30 a.m. Break for lunch
1:30 a.m. Fifth Module: Conversation #4: Forgiving Injuries. A roadmap to work through the inevitable injuries that occur in the course of a relationship.
3:00 p.m Break
3:15 p.m. Affect Regulation: Practical exercises to help center and ground ourselves when flooded with emotions, especially as it relates to upset with partners.
4:15 Sixth Module: Conversation #5: Keeping Your Love Alive. Practical exercises that each couple brings home to solidify and enhance the gains made in the workshop experience.
6:00 p.m Workshop ends. Collect evaluations.
